Zoe Hodgden is a painter currently based near Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Herron School of Art and Design, where she graduated from the BFA program with honors and received an undergraduate research grant for her work in painting. After the birth of her son, Espen, in 2022, Zoe’s work shifted to cover all things maternal. Her current work challenges current cultural taboos surrounding motherhood in America as well as within the arts, featuring depictions of herself and her own experiences as a mother.
In her day to day life, you can find Zoe cuddled up with any one of her pets, reading a fantasy novel, or trying new coffees and beers.
